Welcome to the 5th Rangers "E" Company Web Site.
Last Update: 4/13/08
Since the 60th Anniversary of the D-Day landings this year on June 6 the topic of World War II has become a greater interest with many Americans. Television networks such as the History Channel have recruited reenacting units to help film new footage to aid in their documentaries of the subject. Video game companies have released numerous games on the topic and the bookshelves are crowded with new material based on years of research.
World War II reenacting is a growing hobby amongst other era reenactors such as Civil War or World War I. The unit known as the 5th Ranger Battalion led the way on the bloody beaches of Normandy in the greatest land invasion in history. This Web site and our living history displays will help keep their sacrifices alive for all future generations to appreciate.
The 5th Rangers "E" Coy Living History Organization is a group of reenactors portraying the 5th Ranger Battalion and home front efforts of the Word War II era.
We (The 5th Rangers "E" Coy Living History Organization) are a member of the Twentieth Century Tactical Studies Group a non profit organization. We are not a militia, military or political group nor do we condone or tolerate racist or extreme political views in our unit. Through research and interviews with veterans we strive to be as authentic as possible in every aspect of personal appearance and equipment.
